Job DescriptionSiqalo Foods a subsidiary of Remgro and sister company of RCL Foods is seeking the services of an Ash Handler to be based in Boksburg and report to the Boiler House Foreman. The purpose of this role is to provide support to Boiler House Foreman to execute various tasks in the boiler house. The responsibility of the role includes Handling ash from coal and husk fired boilers to the ash dump and housekeeping in/around the boiler house. 
Minimum RequirementsMinimum RequirementsMatric Certificate.Basic stoking principles.At least 2 years’ experience working in a boiler house environment.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesGeneral Repairs and MaintenanceScrapping the ash out of the boiler using rods to the ash extractor.Unblocking the ash chutes in the extractors.Levelling ash in cocopans and emptying cocopans (follow SOP)Storage and Maintenance of ToolsMonitor that power tools, hand tools and maintenance equipment are kept in good working condition and stored safely Ensure that all tools are kept safe and in good working condition as well as updating the tool register.General assistance to facilities staffMaintain 5S housekeeping principles in the department at all times, including all equipment and surrounds.  Ensure all unused items are removed from the operating area and stored correctlyEffective Teamwork and Self-ManagementFollow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.Safety, Health. Environment, Risk and Quality (SHEQ)Adhering to standard operating procedures, safe maintenance procedures, company policies and procedures, FSSC and safety, health and environmental policies and procedures at all times.

Job DescriptionRCL FOODS is searching for an experienced Artisan: Turbine Fitter to join our Sugar Division based in Malelane. The position requires an individual with extensive knowledge, experience, and insightfulness of turbines to deliver planned and unplanned maintenance services to the business. 
Minimum RequirementsN2 Trade theory plus trade test certificate in Mechanical Fitting.Proof of the successful completion of a formal Institutionalised Training Programme is essential.Minimum of 3 years working experience as a trade tested Artisan: Fitter.Working knowledge of steam turbines and its auxiliaries.Knowledge of Boilers and its auxiliaries and compressors would be an added advantage.Working knowledge of planned maintenance systems.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.Be prepared to work planned and unplanned overtime.Perform standby duties. To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African citizen.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesRender a maintenance service to all equipment in the Energy Plant.Ensure that the machines operate at the desired efficiency level to achieve planned production targets. Conduct maintenance and inspection duties as per job card.Attend to and resolve breakdowns.Work in accordance with qualifications in trade.Assist in breakdown work in other sections.Assist with lifting of equipment.Ensure safety work and inspections are done as per job card.Comply to and maintain good housekeeping.Assist with new projects and installations.Control budget.Comply with all safety rules, as per RCL Foods Sugar & Milling and OSHA requirements.Maintain and uphold RCL Foods Sugar & Milling Quality standards (High Standard of workmanship)
