The Department of Employment and Labour is hiring seven (7) Client Service Officers for Quality Assurance. These roles are essential for processing UIF benefits and providing administrative support across various satellite offices in the Eastern Cape.
Client Service Officers | Available Locations & Reference Numbers
All posts are under the Kariega Labour Centre but are stationed at the following satellite offices:
- Joubertina: Ref No: HR/4/4/9/17
- Louterwater: Ref No: HR/4/4/9/18
- Misgund: Ref No: HR/4/4/9/19
- Hankey: Ref No: HR/4/4/9/20
- Patensie: Ref No: HR/4/4/9/21
- Jeffreys Bay: Ref No: HR/4/4/9/22
- Humansdorp: Ref No: HR/4/4/9/23
Client Service Officers | Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
- Experience: No previous experience required (Entry-level).
- Knowledge:
- Unemployment Insurance Act (UIF) and Regulations.
- Public Financial Management Act (PFMA) and POPIA.
- Batho Pele Principles and Treasury Regulations.
- Skills: Telephone etiquette, interviewing, computer literacy, conflict management, and the ability to interpret the UI Act.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide professional screening services to clients.
- Process applications for UIF Benefits efficiently.
- Register payment continuation forms accurately.
- Perform general administrative functions to support the Labour Centre operations.
