Junior Social Media Community Moderator

This is a fully on-site job in Centurion, Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

– Monitor and moderate comments, messages, and inquiries on various Facebook page.

– Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries, comments, and concerns, providing accurate information and resolving issues effectively.

– Maintain a friendly and engaging tone while interacting with the online community, fostering a positive and supportive environment.

– Collaborate with the social media team to develop strategies for engaging the audience, increasing reach, and enhancing our online presence.

– Identify and escalate any emerging issues or customer feedback that require immediate attention to the relevant teams.

– Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as response time, customer satisfaction, and community engagement, to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts.

Requirements:

– Fluency in Shona, Chichewa, and English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with a diverse audience.

– Experience in social media or customer service roles.

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write engaging and professional responses.

– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathise with customers while maintaining a positive attitude.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle high volumes of comments and messages, and prioritise tasks effectively.

– Passion for customer satisfaction and a genuine desire to help and support the Hello Group online community.

– Familiarity with Facebook.

– Attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in information provided.

– Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to contribute to various social media tasks.
