PEP is currently looking for a commercially minded Ecommerce Data Analyst to join our fast-growing digital team. This role is at the heart of our large-scale omnichannel retail environment, focusing on optimizing every touchpoint of the customer journey.
The Role: Beyond the Numbers
As an Ecommerce Data Analyst, your purpose extends far beyond basic reporting. You will be the bridge between raw data and executive decision-making. Working in a modern, cloud-based analytics environment, you will support our online retail platform by analyzing the end-to-end customer experience—from the first click and traffic source to conversion, fulfillment, and post-purchase satisfaction.
You won’t work in a silo. You will collaborate directly with Ecommerce Product Owners, Digital Marketing, Merchandising, and Technology teams. This is a true end-to-end analyst role where you will handle data sourcing, specify data products for engineering, generate deep insights, and visualize results to drive revenue and basket size.

Key Responsibilities and Impact
- Insights & Performance: Analyze funnel health, product performance, and fulfillment efficiency to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Visualization: Build and maintain sophisticated dashboards using Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI to enable self-service analytics across the business.
- Data Strategy: Define tracking requirements and specify data tables to ensure measurement readiness for every new ecommerce release.
- Performance Measurement: Evaluate the success of website changes, marketing campaigns, and promotional launches using clear KPIs.
- Advanced Analytics: Support high-level initiatives like demand forecasting and predictive conversion analysis.

What You Need to Succeed
We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in a data analytics role, specifically within the ecommerce or online retail sector. Technical proficiency is non-negotiable; you must be an expert in Advanced SQL (BigQuery), GA4, and Shopify data structures.
Beyond the technical “hard skills,” we value the “soft skills” that make a leader. You should be a creative problem-solver who can translate technical jargon into plain English for stakeholders.
