SASSA, in partnership with HWSETA and WHC, is offering a 18-month internship opportunity for 100 unemployed TVET college learners.

The stipend for the internship is R3,500 per month, and the closing date for applications is 28 January 2024.
The primary goal of the internship is to offer 18 months of workplace experience to unemployed learners who have completed their N6 theory from a TVET college, allowing them to graduate in their respective field of study. The focus areas include HR, Finance, Business Administration, Communications, Customer Care, ICT and related fields.
Minimum requirements for candidates
include an N6 Certificate or statement of results from a TVET college, as well as a letter from the TVET college confirming the learner’s need for 18 months of work experience. Candidates must be South African Citizens residing near the SASSA office of placement and must be currently unemployed.
The stipend for this internship is R3,500 per month.
Responsibilities for learners include:
successfully completing 18 months of workplace training at the SASSA Office of placement, meeting all administrative requirements of the internship, completing their log book on time, and providing support to the management team under the supervision of a mentor at SASSA.
