REQUIREMENTS
- Matric certificate plus Bachelors’ Degree in Computer sciences or Computer engineering or
Information Technology (IT) Technical-related field or equivalent qualification at National)
Qualification Framework (NQF) Seven (7) recognised by South African Qualifications Authority
(SAQA) Read More- A postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
- A recognised cybersecurity certificate: Certified information Security Manager (CISM), Certified
- information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP) Or Certified Information Systems Auditor
- (CISA) would be an added advantage.
- Five (5) years’ experience within the information security environment of which three (3) years
must be at a supervisory level in experience conducting investigation in security
compromise/cyber security environmentSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Knowledge of POPIA and PAJA, information of added appropriate regulations and Acts of Parliament,
Regulations, Government Protocols, Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Agreements, Legal
Policy incident, Programme and Project Management, Excellent Legal Analytical Skills, Excellent
Writing and Verbal Communication Skills and Management of Interest and Pressure groups and talent
to work under time pressure. Knowledge of case readiness and information of the Cybercrimes Act and
arrangements of management evidence containing testifying in court.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Development of forms, processes, game plans and tactics for profitable determination of illnesses.
• Participate in benchmarking accompanying worldwide and social instrumentalities on best practices in
announcement of protection compromise and administration of agreement thereof.
• Coordinate exercise of processes; forms for study containing case manual &
correction and improve thereto now and then.
• Manage cooperation Nationally and Internationally on issues having connection with the announcement of
safety compromise.
• Managing the group, depository and demolition of evidentiary artefacts necessary for the division
19 estimate.
• Conduct Preliminary inspection of the character of the safety compromise.
• Determine if the rupture is produced by carelessness (non-exercise of the labeled checking
safety measures.
• Determine if the accountable body attended normal proof that the safety safeguards
were persuasive.
• Maintain chain of guardianship for evidence and secret accountable body documents complied
for evaluation.
• Produce estimate reports for concern by POPIA Division.
• Conduct conference as and when necessary accompanying the trustworthy body/dossier cases/requestor to
