Post description: Griller
Place of work: at any of our Monate Chicken and steak branches (Lufule 2. Mukula or Thohoyandou)
Main Areas of responsibilities
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Clean the workstation before and after preparation
- Ensure the correct ingredients are used at the correct measurements.
- Ensure that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.
- Ensure prepared foods meet the right standards, quality and well presented.
- Ensure correct orders are served to customers.
- Monitor inventory supplies and advise.
- To make sure stock is managed to prevent stock loss and waste.
- To count the stock that you are using before we start selling
- Perform other restaurant duties where required (cleaning, preparing orders and assisting in the kitchen).
- Respond to customers’ inquiries and requests
- To obey all the rules/ laws stated by the employer.
- To conduct stocktaking as assigned by your superiors
- To be on time and to complete your work on time.
- To consistently have a good working relationship with your co-workers (Teamwork).
- To ensure that the food is well cooked, prepared on time and packaged on time.
- Other Requirements
- Has at least 1-years’ experience of working as a Griller
- Be computer literate
- A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality field will be an advantage

- Qualifications:
- Grade 12 certificate
- ID copy (you will be requested to bring originals during Interview)Updated CV (include at least three valid references of previous employers!)
- Other qualifications (will be an advantage)
- Police clearance certificate (will be required only from shortlisted candidates)
- CVS should be hand-delivered at any of the Monate Chicken “n Steak Branches.
