The Department of Employment and Labour is looking for a professional Telecom Operator to join the Gqeberha Labour Centre. This role is essential for maintaining efficient telephonic communication and supporting administrative functions within the Eastern Cape provincial operations.
Telecom Operator | Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate.
- License: A valid driver’s license (added advantage).
- Knowledge Base:
- Familiarity with Departmental policies and procedures.
- Labour Legislation, Employment Services Act, and Public Service Act.
- Understanding of Batho Pele Principles.
- Essential Skills:
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Computer literacy and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and interviewing skills.
- Ability to interpret relevant legislation.
Telecom Operator | Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Telephonic Services: Render an effective and efficient switchboard and telephonic service for the Labour Centre.
- Administrative Support: Provide necessary assistance to Management Support Services (MSS) functions.
- Client Relations: Act as the first point of contact for telephonic inquiries, ensuring professional service delivery.
