📅 SASSA Payment Schedule for 2026/2027
To prevent overcrowding and ensure a smooth transaction process, SASSA stagger payments over three days at the start of every month. Payments are generally not made on weekends, Mondays, or the day immediately following a public holiday.

📈 New SASSA Grant Increases for 2026
Following the recent Budget Speech by the Minister of Finance, several social grants will increase starting April 2026. Here are the updated amounts you will receive:
- Older Persons Grant: Increases by R80 to R2,400
- Disability Grant: Increases by R80 to R2,400
- Care Dependency Grant: Increases by R80 to R2,400
- War Veterans Grant: Increases by R80 to R2,420
- Foster Child Grant: Increases by R40 to R1,290
- Child Support Grant: Increases by R20 to R580
- Grant-in-Aid: Increases by R20 to R580
