People Delivery Specialist – Meat Market Key Job Objectives
1. Employee-Centric Delivery
- Strategic Implementation: Translate the Divisional People Roadmap into actionable regional plans.
- End-to-End HR Services: Manage the full employee life cycle, from sourcing and onboarding (in collaboration with recruitment teams) to career management and succession planning.
- Industrial Relations: Facilitate and resolve IR matters, ensuring a harmonious and productive working environment.
- Talent Management: Oversee performance management, learning, and development initiatives to build workforce capability.
2. Data-Driven Decision Making
- HR Analytics: Manage regional people data and trends to diagnose issues and recommend effective business solutions.
- Budgeting: Develop and manage the regional People budget, ensuring financial compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Reporting: Maintain the accuracy of organizational structures, reporting lines, and people data attributes.

People Delivery Specialist – Meat Market: Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who understands the fast-paced nature of the FMCG or Retail sectors and can apply HR principles to optimize capacity planning.
Education
- Essential: Degree in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
- Note: We value practical experience. If you do not have a degree but possess a proven track record of strong generalist HR delivery in a retail environment, your application will be considered.
Experience
- Essential: 3+ years in an HR Business Partnering role (or equivalent), driving HR frameworks and service delivery.
- Essential: Demonstrable knowledge of HR practices, statutory requirements, and labor legislation.
- Essential: A sound understanding of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and Employment Equity.
- Preferred: Experience specifically within the FMCG or Retail sector.
