Read More- Electrical engineering degree (BSc/B-Tech) with two years post-degree maintenance work experience OR National Diploma Electrical Engineering (S4, T3) – Heavy current, with 4 years post-diploma maintenance work experience, one of which includes supervisory experience.
- Experience in HT/MV reticulation, Generators and Photovoltaic (PV) Solar systems.
- Understanding of Radio Communication Network operation and Infrastructure would be an added advantage.
- Skills and Experience in Project Management.
- Good with financial management and budgeting.
- Sound Knowledge of OHS ACT and Safety standards.
- Strong leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Trade Test and/or 3-phase Wireman’s licence would be an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
Responsibilities
- Efficient management of Electrical, Refrigeration, and Radio Communication Corporate sections and their infrastructure.
- Management and Supervision of Maintenance teams in line with KPI as agreed.
- Provide relevant technical advice and support services.
- Review MV and LV Electrical systems and network designs to applicable standards.
- Ensure and enforce full compliance with Electrical, Refrigeration and Radio communication standards.
- Implement and manage Projects, a variety of Contracts and Contractors.
- Perform various administrative tasks that include Budgets, budget controls, technical and performance reports, and record keeping.
- Lead in promoting and maintaining a Healthy and Safe working environment.
- Ensuring the performance of work is in accordance with SOP/SWP, best practices.
- Ensure full compliance with the OHS Act and all other relevant legislation.
- Development, Reviewing and maintenance of relevant Policies, Standard Operating/ Working Procedures (SOP/SWP) and Code of Practices.
