Boxer Superstores is looking for a Senior Legal and Contracts Coordinator to support our Commercial Division with contract management and advisory support in a high-volume, fast-paced FMCG environment fit for Legal Commercial and Contracts Advisor.
This role is ideal for someone with a legal qualification (LLB, BProc, BCom Law or equivalent) who enjoys a balance of hands-on administrative responsibility and providing commercial legal insight — without the need to be an admitted attorney.
Minimum Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile: Legal Commercial and Contracts Advisor
Legal qualification: LLB, BProc, BCom Law or similar (admission as an attorney not required).
3–5+ years’ experience in a contracts, paralegal or legal support role in a commercial, FMCG or retail environment.
Proven experience handling contract lifecycles, regulatory compliance, and legal documentation.
Solid understanding of commercial law and procurement processes.
Excellent attention to detail, document control, and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service level agreements, and trading terms.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all contracts and assist with the resolution of contractual disputes.
Collaborate closely with buyers, the Commercial Executive, and other internal stakeholders to align contract terms with business objectives.
Maintain the centralised contracts database, manage renewal alerts, and ensure document accuracy and integrity.
Support regulatory compliance including POPIA, CPA, and other applicable legislation affecting FMCG operations.
Assist in interpreting legal risks, preparing contract summaries, and ensuring adherence to internal governance frameworks.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Retail Management/Operations, Property Studies, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in an analytics role, preferably within supply chain, retail, or property development
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, visualization)
Ability to interpret and analyze large data sets
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through academic performance and work experience
