Job Description
Overseeing all scales, product distribution- and inkjet printing machinery throughout the processing plant and making sure that the scales are working properly.
Requirements
Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
N2 Certificate – Electrical or Mechanical.
1 – 2 Years’ experience as Scale Technician.
FMCG experience will be advantageous.
Willingness to work overtime incl. shifts, weekends/ holidays when required.
Duties And Responsibilities
Maintaining and servicing of weighing and inkjet equipment in the Processing Plant.
Assist with inspections as per job card issued.
Assist with daily paperwork before end of shift (check sheet, job cards).
Maintenance of scale equipment on weekends as per shift roster.
Assist with installation measures to reduce downtime.
Assist with any other work or breakdown as instructed by shift coordinator or engineering manager.
Any other duties as may be required by line manager.
