In this role, you will lead administrative functions within our Comm Centre, ensuring seamless Order to Cash (O2C) processes, efficient order management, and superior customer service on a shift basis.
Dispatch Shift Operator | SPAR Key Responsibilities & Job Functions
As a Dispatch Shift Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain workflow. Your duties include:
- Workflow Administration: Releasing accurate operational reports and ensuring compliance with internal standards throughout the order lifecycle.
- ERP & System Management: Utilizing ERP systems and AS400 to manage order processing, workflow execution, and real-time stock visibility.
- Order to Cash (O2C) Support: Managing accurate order entry, inventory validation, and movement tracking.
- Logistics Coordination: Aligning systems to ensure dispatch readiness and coordinating inventory movement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serving as a key point of contact to resolve internal and external customer inquiries efficiently.
Dispatch Shift Operator | SPAR Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this retail operations role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 12/Matric (Required). A Diploma or Certificate in Logistics Management is highly advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is mandatory. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP software is preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated people management skills and the ability to lead a shift effectively.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive organizational skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts and overtime in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
